We’re thrilled to be part of the winning team behind the NAVY BLUE proposal for Charlestown’s Pier 5. Architecture Newspaper selected NAVY BLUE, a tri-venture of the Charlestown Marina, Parent + Diamond, and Urban Spaces, in collaboration with Utile and Tise Design Associates, for the Unbuilt - Master Plan category in the 2021 AN Best of Design Awards. This redevelopment proposal to the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) aims to transform Charlestown Navy Yard’s Pier 5 into a resilient community of live-aboard vessels (“LVs”), fabricated and assembled locally at the East Boston Shipyard.
