In this time of the COVID 19 health crisis and the resulting National Emergency and out of our a deep concern for our LWSI Team (a wonderful group!), their families and friends as well as for those valued consultants and colleagues with whom we so often meet and out of respect for our respective communities and the challenges which they now face, Landworks Studio will be transitioning to a volunteer remote teaming structure for the foreseeable future.
Accordingly, LWSI will also prohibit project related air travel until such time as the National Emergency has been lifted and health safety restored.
At the moment, we are establishing a platform for remote teaming for both daily interactions between internal LWSI teams as well as for meeting and interacting with other remote teams and client groups. Fortunately, because of our many years of global project experience, we have already in place an extensive record of working collaboratively and generatively with remote consultants and clients through the process of video conferencing, including online/realtime drawing workshops and research.
For the duration of this National Emergency, Landworks Studio will maintain our commitment to design excellence and to meeting client expectations of interaction and timeliness with respect to schedule and meeting established deadlines.
We’re on board and ready for the challenges that are before us and will use this experience to imagine and test new possibilities and scenarios for invention, design dialogue and project management.
